"You have to work hard to offend Christians. By nature, Christians are the most forgiving, understanding, and thoughtful group of people I've ever dealt with. They never assume the worst. They appreciate the importance of having different perspectives. They're slow to anger, quick to forgive, and almost never make rash judgments or act in anything less than a spirit of total love . . . No, wait--I'm thinking of Labrador retrievers!" 1. A press conference held in Tokyo last night might be of interest to those who are concerned, especially the presentation by a former Toshiba engineer who was responsible for designing the containment vessel of those particular reactors in peril. There's sentence-to-sentence translation into English. His part begins at 8'05".

The press conference was sponsored by the Foreign Correspondents Club in Tokyo, inviting an NGO called the Citizens' Nuclear Information Center (CNIC), which has a long record of tracking nuclear plants in Japan. The camerawork is somewhat unprofessional, but you can hear the translator's voice fairly clearly.
