"You have to work hard to offend Christians. By nature, Christians are the most forgiving, understanding, and thoughtful group of people I've ever dealt with. They never assume the worst. They appreciate the importance of having different perspectives. They're slow to anger, quick to forgive, and almost never make rash judgments or act in anything less than a spirit of total love . . . No, wait--I'm thinking of Labrador retrievers!" Help, help! I can't post any more pictures!

When I tried to post a picture on a series I want to do about our chow Cherokee, I got the message that I've used up all my free picture space. There is a long, complicated policy statement I have to agree to in order to buy more space and I'm not sure it's safe to sign. My husband and a friend are helping me figure this out--but does anyone out there have any suggestions? Thanks!

Today's "Holy Spirit or Madison Avenue?" is below.

  1. Yes. Thank you! You're the friend I mentioned above. Jerry and I are trying to follow your suggestions.

  5. Kathryn and Connie, When you say you had to delete many pictures on your blog, do you mean delete them from already published posts? (I'd rather not.) Or delete them from some mysterious data base of photos from which we downloaded them to our posts? If the latter, where do I go to do that? And if I delete them from the secret cache, will it delete them from the posts?

Have either of you tried buying more space? You can apparently get more for only $5 but I don't trust the healthcare-reform-length document you have to agree to. Do I have to promise to give them my firstborn son? (He's 40 years old and I think he'd mind.)

I tried to link to someone else's blog yesterday and ended up providing all kinds of information I didn't mean to plus agreeing to a document that made me an accidental member of something called Feedjit--without ever successfully linking to the blog at all.

Do I have to start over with a new email address? I thought starting a new blog would be sufficient to give me a new lease on picture space.
